How light is 380gsm?
380gsm is in superlight territory — noticeably lighter than a standard 450gsm gi. You'll feel the difference immediately on the mat, especially during long training sessions or on competition day when weight management matters.

Is it IBJJF legal?
Yes. The VLR Superlight is IBJJF legal and built for competition.

Is it durable enough for regular training?
Yes. Despite the lighter weight, the pearl weave construction and reinforced stitching give it the durability to handle regular mat time.
