    Kids Judo Gis – Built for Young Judoka

    A child's first judo gi needs to do two things: survive constant gripping and throwing, and survive the washing machine. Our kids' judo gis are made from durable cotton with reinforced stitching, built to handle club training, randori and grading days — and sized to fit young judoka properly so they can move and learn.

    Sizing & Colours

    Our kids' judo gis are sized by height in centimetres and available in white and blue. Judo gis shrink slightly over the first few washes, so if your child is between sizes, it's usually worth sizing up.

    What size judo gi should I order for my child?

    Kids' judo gis are sized by height in centimetres — choose the size matching your child's height. Email us their height and we'll confirm the right fit.

    What colour judo gi does my child need?

    White is standard for most clubs and gradings; blue is used in competition to tell competitors apart. Check with your instructor if you're unsure.

    Will it shrink in the wash?

    A little, over the first few washes — which is why we suggest sizing up if your child is between sizes. Wash cold and hang dry to keep shrinkage to a minimum.
