The Valor Black Mesh Short Sleeve Rash Guard is built for BJJ and MMA training where breathability matters. Mesh panels throughout the body allow air to circulate during hard rolls, while the close-fitting cut stays in place and doesn’t bunch under a gi or get grabbed in no gi. Lightweight, fast-drying, and tough enough for daily mat use.

Mesh Panels for Serious Breathability
Standard rash guards trap heat. The Valor Mesh uses 89% micro polyester with mesh panels placed across high-heat zones to keep airflow moving throughout training. Combined with 11% spandex for stretch and recovery, it moves with you through transitions, guard work, and scrambles without restricting range of motion.
Built to Last — Sublimation Printed, Triple Stitched
The white-on-black design is sublimation printed — the colour is baked into the fabric, not applied on top. It won’t crack, peel, or fade after repeated washing. Every seam is triple stitched to handle the pulling and stretching of regular BJJ and MMA training without coming apart at stress points.
Fits Under a Gi or Stands Alone for No Gi
The short sleeve cut works equally well under a gi jacket or as a standalone no gi top. The fitted profile sits flat under the gi without adding bulk, and the length stays tucked during movement.

What is a rash guard used for in BJJ?
A rash guard protects your skin from mat burns, reduces bacteria transmission, and keeps you dry during training. In gi BJJ it’s worn under the jacket. In no gi it’s your main upper body garment.
Short sleeve or long sleeve — which should I get?
Short sleeve is more popular for no gi BJJ and MMA where you want more arm freedom. Long sleeve offers more skin coverage and warmth, and is preferred by many gi BJJ practitioners and those training in cooler gyms.
Will it shrink in the wash?
No. The micro polyester fabric is pre-shrunk and won’t shrink at 30°C. Hang dry to maintain the fit and print quality.
Can I wear this under my gi?
Yes. The slim fit and short sleeve cut are designed to sit flat under a gi jacket without bunching or adding bulk.
